Hello,
thanks for the status update.

I think it is not just my site but the entire category that needs a lot of work with a lot of site pending since ages. I know other webmasters awaiting for a year without their site even reviewed there, although the category is supposed to have an editor.

Is there ANY way that I can get the attention of a super moderator (or who ever) that could have this category updated ?

Attention? You got it with the status request. "Sites pending" is pretty irrelevent, except sometimes as a potential gage of work needed. And yes, it seems that we could use more editors actove and interested in that area.

But change their priorities? No, there's no way you can do that.

How much sites are waiting for review in this category ?
