There are no news about the staus?

I've seen that dmoz have no editor for the category
Adult: Games: Gambling

It means that all submission for the category will be
frozen for unknown time ?

No - many senior editors have access to that category and can review the sites.

All people said that it is total absurdity to wait for a review,
in a category without an editor.
Yes, they have right - the only way to get reviewed
is to start a new category and become an own editor status.
