What is a reasonable amount of time I should wait before I post another inquiry?

On another topic, since the thread gets buried so quickly, I try using the search forum function to find my original thread, but it never works. I'm not sure what I am doing wrong, but typing in my user name or the URL in the search field doesn't yield my thread. I always have to just page down one at a time to find my posts.
