As Bobrat wrote "Reviewed and not accepted."
This means your site (in it's current form) will not be listed anywhere in ODP.
If the first category you suggested the site to wasn't the correct one the reviewing editor would have moved it to the right one.

The editor that did not accept my website is abusing his position and he has refused my website because he is competitor.
That’s why I submitted it to a different category so I don’t have to deal with him.
My website complies with all the guidelines and there is no reason for it not to be accepted!!!

You can never know which editor has reviewed your site - even if there is a named editor in the category you submit to, there are several hundred other editors who can edit in that category.

Submitting your site to the wrong category intentionally is a bad idea for many reasons. It creates more work for the editors, it usually prolongs the time until review - and besides it is not a way to escape any particular editor since you can't know, again, which editor will review your site.

If you believe that an editor has abused his or her position and rejected your site unfairly, please submit an abuse report using the form at http://report-abuse.dmoz.org/ . Do not make any such reports anywhere at Resource-Zone; it is against the forum rules and such postings will be removed.

Thank you.

It was actually recommended by one of the editors to submit to this new category, because it is more suitable.
So I did not submit to the wrong category or anything like that.

I can see why an editor might have recommended that. Because -- mark this down! the site is abolutely not eligible for a Shopping category. And any editor -- ANY editor, competitor or not -- would have been abusing if they had ACCEPTED it there!

I can also see why a Shopping editor would have considered the site ineligible for listing anywhere. But it is, perhaps, "less unsuitable" for CI than for Shopping.

We'll see in maybe six months what a CI editor thinks.

The reason I submitted my website to shopping category is because I was looking at the back links of the website that has exactly the same purpose as mine (absolutely nothing with shopping) and found a link coming from that ODP category. Therefore, as you are saying, editor was abusing for accepting it there!?

Without knowing when that site was added, or what content was on it when it was added, or what Shopping guidelines were in place at the time, it is hard to say whether abuse had occurred sometime in the past. So no, we wouldn't say that.

But however it happened, we call it a "quality control problem." We will be happy to double-check the other site if you provide details (not in this forum, but in the "sites changed content" thread in the abuse forum.)
