I would like to know the status of http://www.scanningla.com submitted to this category: http://dmoz.org/Regional/North_America/United_States/Business_and_Economy/Business_to_Business/
My problem is: I submitted my site to this category under an editor's advice.
We are based in Los Angeles but do business nationwide. Can I just submit my site to the this categories:
Business: Hospitality: Software: Point of sale systems
Business: Retail Trade: Technology: Point of Sale: Hardware: Cash Registers

I find them more accurate than the Regional and where my competitors are listed.

If you want us to tell you the status of your suggestion you have to give us a clickable link for the category as specified in the forum guidelines.

As you could read in the ODP guidelines you are supposed to suggest you site to the ONE most appropriate category.
If a site has both a regional and a thematic relevance it might be sugegsted to
ONE thematical category and ONE regional category
