No change, I'm afraid. Unfortunately there are still a lot of submissions there, so you'll need to hang in there for another month or two at least. Sorry about that.

Oh, congratulations for submitting to the correct category. Many of the submissions there seem to use the logic that because they do SEO and SEO starts with 'S' they can submit to the 'S' category. That's probably part of the explanation for the backlog.

Still waiting for review, along with more than a hundred other submissions in letter S alone. It seems there are a lot of search engine optimizers, but not many volunteer editors in this field ...

PS: Maybe your site can also be listed in the category of your locality, which is Regional: North America: United States: New York: Localities: K: Kings Park.

If there is still a long wait, and I submit to the locality page as advised, will I still be able to submit to the appropriate category?

Will that submission still be waiting in line, or will my new submission cancel it out and cause me to resubmit to the SEO category?

A new suggestion submitted to the regional category will not overwrite the other one, they'll then both be awaiting review.

Regional and topical listings are treated entirely separately, neither one affects the other. They're not usually even handled by the same editors.
