While you were patiently waiting, we changed the rules on how often you can check on your site. The wait is now 6 months.

Sorry about that. If a senior editor doesn't decide to reply anyway, you may check again after November 9.

No. There are over 200 editors who can edit in your category, but most of them won't touch Adult, and very few want to go through the Image Galleries to see if they've stolen pictures from another Image Gallery.

I'm not saying you would do that, but....

Membership sites can still be added if the webmaster supplies an account, either in the application, or on request from an editor. We prefer the latter (confirmed recently in some internal discussion), but how you (the webmaster) confirm that the request comes from an editor is another question.

And we don't discuss site submissions here, exactly. We report on the status of submissions. "Discussion" has generally been shown to be counter-productive.

As you can easily tell, there are only 7 editors listed at the Adult level, one additional under Adult/Image_Galleries, and none the rest of the way down to the category you are asking about. I have no idea which of those 8 editors or of the 200 or so editall's (who can edit in any category) are interested in your category -- but it's likely that someone will look at it eventually. There is no such thing as the editor in charge of a submission or a category.

I'm not familar with the precise requirements for editorship but that category, at first glance, looks to be suitable for a new editor. If you can provide three competitors not presently listed, reveal your affiliation with the site under review, and demonstrate to the satisfaction of the reviewing Meta-editor than you can be fair to other sites, you might apply.

To be able to answer the above quote this would mean i have to apply for an editorial position in the category mentioned, is this correct ?

Yes -- keeping in mind that, if the category is not suitable for a new editor, I will take the blame for suggesting it, so you might look through the new editor guidelines, as well.
