It was reviewed and will not be listed. It is a mirror of a site that is already listed.

Can you give me any reason why it will not be listed?

It is a high quality travel accommodation site.

Yes - I do own 2 different properties and there are 2 web sites. But they are 2 different properties in different locations with different amenities. Almost all of the content is different including rates, pictures, amenities, location, floor plan, size, etc. About the only thing they have in common is that I own both properties and they are on the same island. I do not consider these sites mirror sites.

Please advise.

Thanks

We will only list one site in a situation like this. If you have an umbrella site that inlcudes information about all your other sites, we would consider listing that instead.

I do see your view and I realize that you have procedures.

Originally I was going to put both properties on one site, but because of the size and differences there would be too much confusion. One site is a one bedroom condo and the other is a two bedroom condo. Anyone interested in one unit will not be interested in the other.

I am also afraid that if I set an umbrella site it would be considered spam by some search engines.

By setting up two individual sites there is no confusion by the person looking at the sites and myself since there are 2 different email addresses.

I think the only reason dmoz is considering them mirrors is that I own both units.

I really don't think they are mirrors. However, I also can see why dmoz considers them mirrors. They are 2 different sites promoting 2 different kinds of condos and nobody is deceived and there is no confusion.

I guess there is nothing I can say that will change dmoz's mind. I appreciate everyones time.

We understand, really, that it is your website and you lay it out for your purposes. And when it gets down to it, we really don't want you designing sites for the ODP -- we want you designing sites for the surfer.

Are the sites at least interlinked, though? That is, do you have a "if this is too big for you, you might be interested in our [one-bedroom condo] instead"?

Or do you have a "corporate" page that links to both sites? We'll only put one URL, but we'd rather put some one URL that eventually links to all your stuff.
