Greetings, all:

I would like to ask for some help concerning a website that I've been trying to get listed in the ODP project for close to three years.

I certainly don't want to complain; I had no problems getting four other websites listed in their appropriate categories in short order. For some reason, I have had no luck with this one!

I know that I should give a direct link to the category I submitted to; the problem is, about every three months or so, I have resubmitted, and chosen a different but equally applicable category to submit to.

At one time, I submitted the same site with a different url, as I did not have a domain name associated with the site for quite some time.

http://www.dmoz.org/Regional/North_America/United_States/Nevada/Localities/L/Las_Vegas/Society_and_Culture/Organizations/

A while back, I submitted to the above category. The reason for doing so, was that I run a similiar not-for-profit project localized in the Las Vegas Area. The ODP editor determined that the above category was applicable for this other project, so I submitted the silvermedicine.org project to this category as well.

I spoke with an ODP editor, perhaps six months ago, concerning this website. The editor was kind enough to check the pending site reviews, and saw my submissions. Unfortunately, the OTHER categories I had submitted to were ( and have not ) not receiving very much attention in reviews.

Having noticed this for several years now, occassionally I apply to become an editor of the category.

Thank you for any assistance you can provide,

Best Regards,
Jason R. Eaton

That is almost certainly not an appropriate category for your site, as it appears not to have any local relevance to Las Vegas at all.

Your site is, however, currently awaiting review in at least two other categories:
http://dmoz.org/Shopping/Health/Nutrition/Minerals/Colloidals/Silver , where I don't think it will be listed, as it doesn't actually sell anything (so it wouldn't be appropriate anywhere in the Shopping/ hierarchy).

And http://dmoz.org/Health/Alternative where it may find a home in one of the various subcategories (I'm not sure exactly where, since I don't edit much in that area).
