It was most recently submitted on 29th August (Under a month ago) and is awaiting review. We can't predict when that might be. If it hasn't been listed in 6 months, please ask again.

Still no posting

Hi-

I requested that www.smartguardsoftware.com be posted to DMOZ under http://www.dmoz.org/Computers/Software/Shareware/Windows/Security/Parental_Control/ over 6 months ago but it has not yet. That initial listing pertained to our product release of "Blockster", a P2P-blocking product that is downloadable from our website.

We are now launching a second product, "WallFly", that will allow parents to set limits on computer use. We want to do our best to get listed in DMOZ. We believe DMOZ is a critical resource to the online community.

Can someone look into this and let me know if we are doing something wrong in the way we are trying to list our website?

Thanks,

Jerald

Your site was listed in Computers/Software/Shareware/Windows/Security/Parental_Control/ a couple of weeks ago, if you feel that is incorrect - go to that category and fill out an update request with an explanation.

Do not continue to submit the individual page within the site, it will just get ignored and deleted

Confused

Thanks, I found it!!

But, I am confused...when I go to the main page "http://dmoz.org/" and type in "smartguard" it does not seem to come up. I'll plug around some more to see if I am doing something wrong in the search but I can't imagine what.

The search server is known to be running on a slightly older version of our database. Please see our faq for related questions.

Thanks

Yes, I just found the FAQ on this issue. It looks like a new index needs to be built before the search will find it. Thanks for all the help!
