http://www.softwaresubmit.net/ was submitted to Computers: Software: Shareware: Submitting Services. The submission was rejected on August 13th for being a redirect to that subdirectory of http://www.skilledsoftware.com/. By the way, have you considerd submitting that URL yet?

http://www.skilledsoftware.com is already submitted as an alias in the http://dmoz.org/Computers/Software/Configuration_Management/Tools/Visual_SourceSafe/ category, as http://www.sqlsourcecontrol.com (look for SQL Source Control 2003 entry).

Since http://www.softwaresubmit.net is a redirect, we won't list that URL. We might list the URL it redirects to: http://www.skilledsoftware.com/softwaresubmit/ . You will be wasting your time and ours, as well as possibly delaying your listing (editors sometimes look for the easiest sites to list first), by submitting the redirect instead of the underlying URL.

In addition, generally we would be much more likely to list skilledsoftware.com than sqlsourcecontrol.com since the former appears to be the main site for your company (e.g. your email addresses use skilledsoftware.com, and your redirect points to a subdirectory of skilledsoftware.com). If I were reviewing the site, I would consider skilledsoftware.com to be the main site, and sqlsourcecontrol.com to be a mirror.

[Added] In fact, we now do list http://www.skilledsoftware.com/ . I have a question, though: is this product primarily an SQL tool that happens to support Visual SourceSafe (that's how it appears to me), or is it primarily a Visual SourceSafe tool that happens to be used with SQL? The reason I'm asking is that your site was listed in both a Visual SourceSafe Tools category and an SQL Tools category, and it seems unlikely that a single product belongs in both places.[/Added]
