Happy new year from germany!

Could anybody give me some information about the status of our homepage?
http://www.st-systeme.de

The problem is: I'm not quite sure, if I submitted our site to
http://dmoz.org/Business/Business_Services/Security/Alarm_Systems/
or to
http://dmoz.org/Business/Business_Services/Security/Products_and_Equipment/

Your site is awaiting review in http://dmoz.org/Business/Business_Services/Security/Alarm_Systems/ . The queue is reasonably long however, so it looks like it may take a while to be reviewed.

What do you mean by "it may take a while"? A week, a month, a year? Not so easy to stay calm, regarding how important DMOZ is for the Google ranking of a site.

Yes, it might take a week, a month, or a year. It's not entirely possible to say that it won't take even longer. The directory is maintained by volunteers and those volunteers cannot be forced to do anything.

This means that you have two choices, either be patient and wait for a listing, or do something useful by volunteering.

No, sorry. It really is a large queue and it seems like an area with few editor attention.

Just as a sidenote: When I wanted to check if the site really is biligual, I was unable to open it in Opera6.05 - seemed like an endless loop or something, permanently reloading something.

thanks for the hint. Seems to be a problem with the small java script that loads the main frame if it is not displayed. I'll check this with Opera. Thanks!
