I'm checking on the status of http://www.strumtek.com, submitted approximately Jan 10-15th to the following category:


http://www.dmoz.org/Regional/North_...as/Localities/E/Elgin/Arts_and_Entertainment/


If I'd like to submit to a couple of other regional categories (Austin Metro, specifically, with sub-categories) will that be OK? Should I wait till this one is posted first?

I can't answer whether your submission was received, but it is never approriate to submit your site to other Regional categories, unless the focus of the site changes significantly.

I have checked and found out that your site is not waiting for review in the category that you have mentioned. It has neither been accepted nor rejected - it just seems that your submission never got there. Please do resubmit to that category, which seems to be the most appropriate one. (As arubin has already said, please do not resubmit your site to other Regional categories - they would all be less appropriate than this one and thus your site couldn't be listed there.)

I think I should stop writing about guitar playing now because it makes me sing, and it's already after midnight here in Germany and neighbours might wake up. Good luck with resubmitting, and feel free to come back to this thread after a month to check whether your submission has come through this time.
