This site was submitted over a month ago.

Not quite a month yet but I will answer regardless.

The following submissions have been made:

http://www.lordtechnical.com/
http://www.lordtechnical.co.uk/
http://www.lord-technical.co.uk/
http://www.surveyingstuff.com/

As we do not list mirrors/sister sites I have removed from the pile ALL except http://www.lordtechnical.com/ which I consider to be the one where most of the information is sourced from (news etc).

There is no need to submit any more domains and the remaining site is now awaiting a review.

query re. last response

Thank you for your response.

I would disagree with your reasoning for withdrawing www.surveyingstuff.com as this is the only site which has all the news, products, information and how-to's from Lord Technical. The other site (with varying URLs) is simply corporate information which will direct visitors familiar with the old URLs, to the new site.

May I please request that you therefore do not withdraw the more comprehensive and informative site. Given your explanation, I am happy for the Lord Technical URLs to be withdrawn if this is possible.

Many thanks

query re. response to site submission status request

Hi

I wondered if someone could reply to my last posting as I am concerned that the wrong site has been removed from the review list. Also when I looked at the guidelines I could not find anything about sister sites or more than one unique site from the same company not being eligible for listings, only that identical mirrors were not allowed.

Many thanks

Help please

I am querying the decision made to withdraw our website from the review pile and I would appreciate a response from the forum. The reasons given were that the site was a sister site to one already submitted and that this was where www.surveyingstuff.com sourced its information and news.

This is incorrect. The site www.surveyingstuff.com is where all the news, information, how-to's are located, as well as a full catalogue of products.

The site that remains in the queue for review contains only a small amount of information, and is mainly to catch visitors familiar with the old URL and point them towards the main site.

Also, in the guidelines, I could only find a reference to identical mirrors being ineligible, not sister sites.

Please could someone respond.

Many thanks

On closer look I am actually going to hold my hands up and admit that it appears that I may have chose the wrong site to remove from the pile however which site is ultimately listed, if any, will be the decision of the reviewing editor.

I do accept that the main purpose of the one I left there is indeed to drive people to http://www.surveyingstuff.com/ so I am going to make the ammendment now.
