Regional: North America: United States: Texas: Localities: H: Houston: Business and Economy: Home and Garden: Landscaping - Does this mean thatnext few days are only chance to check on status of your submission - I submited this site severalmonths ago and it is still not listed - I find this entire site VERY confusing - full of very hard to understand rules etc...

Would someone give me somestraight talk - Is my site ok ?? and why is it not being listed? and why is this place so darn unfriendly to the general public that is just trying to get a nice site listed at this place? I've tried for months now to get my site listed - Would someone take me under your wing amd tell me how to do that _ Thanks so much

I find this entire site VERY confusing - full of very hard to understand rules etc..

That frustration goes both ways. We think the rules are very straightforward, for example don't start a new thread, yet they are constantly being ignored. But your frustration with this forum will go away - effective May 21.

I don't know. Someone will have to review it, before anyone can answer that.

Nobody has reviewed it yet, as you know.

And ... this is the hard part for people to understand.

It would IMO be UNETHICAL for me to review a site because of a request in a forum. Why? Because if people find out that I do that, the forum will be deluged with people wanting the quick review -- and any other purpose will be lost. And ... the forum was NOT set up as a way of requesting quick reviews. There is no way I know of, of requesting a quick review, and if I found out about one, it would be my duty to figure out how to shut it down -- to keep the ODP fair for the helpful, polite people who DON'T look for ways of jumping whatever line there is.

So there it is. Frustrating -- yes, absolutely, you're looking for control, and it's my duty not to give it to you.

Thank you for your reply - Please sir - is thera way for you to tell if my site is actyally in que for evaluation and has not already been declined. - How can I tell? I am asking no favors - just an honest evaluation - Like for instance - your site has not been rejected but is still in Q for a review or whatever. Good or bad news - is there a way to tell my status of www.swplandscaping.com - THANK YOU SO MUCH for any news you can tell me sir !!!!
