On March 13th I submitted http://www.talkgold.com/forum to the following category:

Just wondering what the status is.

Nothing against the editors, as I know they must be very busy but I noticed that a forum on the same topic as mine goldentalk.com is listed and has nearly no traffic and has been pretty much beed abondoned, yet they got listed not too long ago.

"Not too long ago" must be some months go - no sites have been added to this category since September. Some sites are waiting for review now, and yours is among them. And when the listed sites will be re-reviewed, a forum that got out of use might be removed.

Hi, thanks so much for the quick reply. I really appreciate it. Just wondering, why is it that no sites have been reviewed in that section for 8 months? Is it just a time thing?

Yes. The category has no editor of its own. It can be edited by the editor of Business: Investing and the editors of Business, but they have many categories to look after and thus sometimes a category does not get as much attention as one would wish.
