status of http://www.web-inspect.com

I am respectfully inquiring about the status of my submission. I all honesty (sorry guys) I am not 100% possitive which category I submitted to. I do think that it was at least this far down here --> http://dmoz.org/Computers/Internet/Web_Design_and_Development/Promotion/

Since you don't specifically remember where you submitted, it is a lot more work for the unpaid volunteers who staff this site, and none have yet chosen to invest the time to hunt for your site.

But, since I was here, I took a look and the last editor notes on the site are several years old, so nothing has happened recently. That means it has not been edited, deleted or moved.

I don't have sufficient permissions to search the submission pool you think you remember, but you were getting distressed and I wanted to give you some sort of an answer, even if it is incomplete. Perhaps another editor will jump in later.

I did peek at the title and description that you submitted, and I have a most gentle (personal) suggestion: include in your tips that submitters should remember the category they submit to, and should try and submit titles and descriptions that meet our style requirements, as it often leads to a faster review.

It is not waiting in the unreviewed pool of the category mentioned above.

And note to spectregunner and other editors who can't see a given pool: I believe that the title and description that you see are the title and meta-tag description pulled real-time from the site, not necessarily the title and description submitted. Try it out in a queue you can see.

We actually have no idea if it's waiting in the unreviewed pool. Because of the way the system works, it;s impossible to search the unreviewed pool, which has more sites waiting than one could imagine. I can tell you that for Computers there are well over 100,000, and yours may be one of them, but without a category, in most cases, we can't find it.

I would suggest, that you review the categrory, and if you are sure that's the best place, then submit it again. You may then ask again in this thread, after at least a month has passed by.

Do you think my webmaster forums would have a better change getting in than my webmaster resources site?
