Status of http://www.webquad.com/network

Hi, first of all, I once again extend my compliments to all of the ODP Editors and various participants who make this directory what it is. Great work <img src="/images/icons/wink.gif" alt="" />

I submitted the Website URL http://www.webquad.com/network at "Society: Religion and Spirituality: Christianity: Community" I submitted it around 1 or 2 months ago, yet I have not seen it submitted yet. I am curious of my website's submission status and would greatly appreciate an answer.

Your site was submitted on 30th October, and is currently sitting in the unreviewed queue with well over a hundred other sites.

I am a bit confused, however. What does it mean if my website has been submitted but is sitting in the unreviewed queue? Does that mean that it is on the listing of Open Directory Project? Or does that mean it has not been added yet...? When I search for WebQuad Network, nothing appears. If it is not submitted yet, when will it be? I would greatly appreciate your responses!! <img src="/images/icons/laugh.gif" alt="" />

Basically, once you submit your site it goes into a category specific "unreviewed queue". There it stays until an editor comes along and reviews your site. The one of three things may happen:

• Your site is listed in that category
• Your site is moved to a moved to another, more appropriate, category for another editor to look at
• Your site is rejected as not being suitable for listing (normally "Under construction" and "affiliate" sites) [/list:u]
  
  Until a site is listed, it WILL NOT appear "to the public" in the Open Directory Project.
  
  Your site is still waiting for an editor to look at it (and there are around 100 other sites in that queue for editors to look at).
  
  If your site has not been listed in a months or so time, please come back to THIS thread (do NOT start a new thread about the same site) and ask for another status update.

My website has not been listed in 2 months, and I have not seen it listed. It has obviously been sitting unreviewed for the past 2 or so months. So, that is why I am coming to you <img src="/images/icons/smile.gif" alt="" /> How much longer am I expected to wait? I am very curious...

He meant come back in another month (i.e. in late December) if your site still hasn't been listed by then.

It can take anywhere from several hours to a year or more to get your site reviewed. On average, it's several months at least. It depends on where you've submitted (how active editors are there, how much spam/abuse the category gets, etc.).

The description of Society: Religion and Spirituality: Christianity: Community says: "This category is for the promotion of ideas of how a Christian Community can work."

To me it seems that your site has another focus, probably somewhere in the Games: Video Games: Strategy: Real-Time area.
