Unfortunately we have no way of telling which category you submitted to. However it appears that your site is listed in Business/Industrial_Goods_and_Services/Machinery_and_Tools/Industrial_Metrology/Non-Contact_and_Video_Inspection/Machine_Vision so it would appear that is where it was submitted too

You can use the Update URL option at the top of the category screen where it is listed and suggest the name change with your reason why. An editor will have to look at the listing again, no way of telling how long that will take though (it will not change the sites listing until an editor makes a decision as to the change).
Since the search feature isn't a high priority for the directory it is a bit unreliable. Also, since the listing was just made recently (within the last 30 days or so) some of the search features may not be updated as of yet. It is really kind of hit or miss when using search to locate a specific URL. The best way to keep track of changes to the listing would be to book mark the category for quick reference.
