You could not have registered them, there is no such concept - you might have suggested them

If you suggested both those sites - you may have ignored the submission guidelines which warn you of the possible consequences of suggesting related sites with similar content - you may wsih to read http://www.dmoz.org/add.html

But I can't tell you for sure since marshtincknell.com does not exist as a working site

If you wish an answer to your question please read Read the guidelines before posting. http://resource-zone.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=396 and reply to this thread

[I guess you own the URL marshtincknell.com but it's not active]

and you have to follow the posting rules before an editor can answer you

e.g.
.. no category
.. no date of submission

so I have no idea what else you missed

If the most recent time was "today" (probably yesterday, by now), you may ask again in this thread in one month from then.

thats what i said, the most recent, recent meaning there were times before this where no action has been taken. I just need to know what i have done wrong on my site so i can fix it and you can the put it through. But just ignoring the problem shouldnt be the alternative. could someone just look at my site or if i have left out any other little information please tell me, so i can finally get my site registered with dmoz??

Thanks for your time guys :)

I'm afraid you are mis-understanding the purpose of this forum - not only the rules for posting - but the purpose. The sole purpose of the Site Submission Status is to ensure that site are in the heap for possible review.

Because of the way the submission process works, and to avoid spending time on sites that get reviewed within a month of submission, we require the month delay. To avoid excess requests after the first status - we require a six month delay.

It is not a forum to get a site reviewed faster, or to actually review the site. Many of the answers that are given by editors in this forum are obtained by looking an internal logs that provide the answer, and they may not even bother looking at your site. Since the majority of editors do not even look at this forum, so the editor that actually reviews a site is unlikely to even read this thread.

Ok so in that case i will wait a month again and post here again after that...... seems abit weird as people dont keep track of exactly when they submitted until its too late, myself being one of those.

Ok so ill talk to you guys again in a month if my site doesnt get submitted

Thanks for your time

Talk to you later ;)

Why don't you submit (once) to the Mt Gravatt locality category in the Regional branch as well. It can do no harm and does not affect the listing in Business. Some sites are reviewed in 24 hours, others can take several years, it is the nature of a voluntary group like ours, it does not mean there is anything wrong with the site necessarily. And once you submit the site it does not expire - resubmitting can only possibly damage your review chances if the editor chooses to sort by date - a later submission overwrites an earlier one. You also submitted 2 identical/related URLs - that is a breach of guidelines that can result in all sites being excluded permanently but I guess you have a second chance on that one.

Yeh my bad, so you can submit your site to as many related catagorys and they wont affect the other ones? nice :) ill go try and see if i can find some other areas where my site may get looked at abit quicker.

Thanks

NO!!!

You submit to one and only one category. You may submit to another specified one if an editor gives you the go ahead - in this case Mt Gravatt in the Regional branch. If you do any others you will most likely be labelled a spammer and the site can be totally excluded for all time.
