Status of Missing http://www.automotiveworkwear.com

Hello, how are problems handled when DMOZ make the error? Instead of moving my listing back to the correct catagory it was removed.

http://www.automotiveworkwear.com was listed under
Shopping:Clothing:Uniforms:Industrial
about 2 1/2 years ago. It was listed correctly then.

About 1 1/2 years ago I noticed that the site had been moved to the medical catagory. (Which is wrong, we supply industrial uniforms). I resubmitted the site to the correct site several times over a six month period and finally email a person at DMOZ.org a little over a year ago, who emailed me (I still have it) that they would make the correction.

It is now one year later. The site http://www.automotiveworkwear.com was totally REMOVED from DMOZ and not simply moved to the correct catagory. I have submitted this website several times during the part year. The latest was only a month ago. The section is without a volunteer. I don't understand why my listed was not just moved back to the section that it was orignially. Can anyone help?

There is no indication that your site was ever listed in ODP [at least with that URL]

There was a listing made for http://www.automotiveworkwear.com/Merchant2/labcoats.html in Shopping/Clothing/Uniforms/Medical/A in July 2002

that was moved in January to Shopping/Clothing/Uniforms/ to be reviewed - at the end of January it was removed since the site was not available.

I still see no record that you were ever listed in Industrial.

Trying to look to the present: Have you submitted the main URL to the category that you think is the right one?

Thank you for the reply. I still insist it was originally 2 1/2 years ago located in Shopping:Clothing:Uniforms:Industrial and then moved to the medical uniforms category. Apparently that person did move the site out of the medical uniforms and placed into Shopping:Clothing:Uniforms. Which is fine with me, since uniforms is a better match than uniforms:medical. This is a truly a minor point, since a listing anywhere in DMOZ has real value.

So how do I get the http://www.automotiveworkwear.com back into the dmoz system. This site is on a dedicated server and to my knowledge has been up and running non stop since 2001. I am puzzled why it was removed for "site not available" My site like others is up and 99% of the time, which is considered normal by industry. Occasionally the host company must make system wide upgrades to all the servers which can take them off line for a brief time several times a year.

I did submit the about 4 weeks go to DMOZ, should I submit it again or wait? (I know it takes longer than 4 weeks to get listed)
