We don't send out emails or critiques of sites, I'm afraid.

If you could provide us a clickable link to the category where the sugegstion was made, we can look into the status.

Thanks.

Dawn,

A suggestion of that URL is currently awaiting editorial review in category http://dmoz.org/Shopping/Clothing/Outerwear/Baby

Other suggestions in categories:
Shopping/Clothing/Children's/Baby
Shopping/Clothing/Footwear/Children's
Shopping/Clothing/Footwear/Children's/Soft_Soles

were rejected by editors as duplicate suggestions - editors feel that the remaining category is the most appropriate.

Please do not make any more suggestions of this URL to any other category (or even the same one) unless expressly told to by an editor on this forum (in this thread, indeed) - doing so will more than likely just slow down the review process even further.

Thanks.

If you do not see the site listed by then, you are more than welcome to come back six months after the past status request and get an update. That would be on or after October 14th.

Thanks.

You always should get on with your life. You have done everything that is needed to get your site reviewed.
As you have been told before you are only allowed to ask for a status every 6 months. Please don't ask again before October 14th.

where i submited my website

Hello,

I know the rules about only submiting my site once, but i have taken time to read all the the info here and a few other places and would like to rewrite my site description again as im not happy with the first one.

would this be possible without getting into trouble ?

kind Regards

Dawn

Almost certainly not necessary. As matter of course editors re-write suggested titles and descriptions to be guidelines-compliant. I think out of the thousands of suggested sites I've added to the directory, I've taken the suggested title and description as written maybe once.

You needn't worry about it. Fixing your suggested description will not make your site any more or less listable, and every single site is reviewed regardless of its suggested description. Since you can only get status reports based on the LAST submitted date, re-submitting will negatively affect that.

I wouldn't bother.

thank you

I was just reading about titles and descriptions and wish i could have changed the lot thats all,

my title was more keywords that site name because most search engines like keywords in the title and my description was a little wishie washie and not getting to the point, but again search engines like keywords unlike domz.

But thank you for your advice wrathchild

Kind rgds

Don't worry about it. Really. We've seen worse keyword-stuffing than yours (I can guarantee that without even looking.) We just perform hyposuction and go on.

Editors find sites, classify them, review them, look up the title, and write descriptions. We accept as much help as you're able and willing to give (subject only to the general proviso: please don't bug us about poor sites.) We'll do the rest. We'd have had to do it all without your help, so we won't complain.

Like wrathchild says, we're more surprised to find a description well done, than annoyed by a poor one.
