Status of my site

Can someone tell me the status of <url removed>? Was submitted last year, around March and my live monitoring chat script (has hidden live visitor stats) shows me a editor actually visited the website from the admin area of dmoz and still the site was not added.

Any ideas? Site is in correct category, and should be listed next to other Romanian jobs abroad websites.

I'm sorry, but we don't provide status reports on site suggestions - see this post.

Hits from the editor server are not necessarily an indication that your site is being reviewed - it could just be somebody (or something, in the form of an automated tool) checking that the link was working. Also, many editors make sure not to access sites directly from the dmoz server, so the absence of a hit in your server logs doesn't mean the site hasn't been reviewed, either.

I see, ok. so it means even if the editor did accessed the website, it will not be added that instant? any idea of where the submission goes meanwhile as it is pending?

It'll either continue to wait where it is or perhaps be moved to wait in a more appropriate category.

I see. Thank you jimnoble for your fast and honest reply I submitted another domain today. Seems like either editors are few or workload huge, as some forums reports from months to years of waiting for adding to directory.
