I'm sorry but it is policy not to discuss specific reasons. My best advice is to visit the guidelines on submission, and go through the types of sites we don't accept. Where you see anything that might breach those guidelines, change them, resubmit, and point out in the resubmission the changes you have made so the editor knows there is something to rereview. However, bear in mind that a DMOZ listing will not bring untold riches so if your site is doing very well without it, changing it specifically to get a listing is probably not a good idea (in my humble opinion)!
