Seems your first status request got overlooked and it would have been OK just to bump the thread, but since your approach is
there's open source for ya, no one with any brains or talent will review sites for free

what was wrong with that thread? I think you need to need to be a lawyer to understand the guidlines here

oops, I must have missed the guidlines (it's a pretty big forum), had no idea it took up to 6 months to get looked over, running these adult sites just makes you cranky sometimes, I do apologize if I offended anyone here

that's weird, I thought it would considering yahoo is a much bigger and more succesful company and could give dmoz a few ideas on the side

Well, we're not a company but a volunteer project, so our criteria for measuring success are completely different. Turnover, benefit and RoI aren't part of these, but quality of the listings, taxonomy and size of the directory are, or in other words, usefulness for the (end) users of our data. :)
