status of site submission ( http://www.findpropertyfrance.com/ )

i registered my site www.findpropertyfrance.com
a couple of months ago.
I was sure i had done it properly but haven't noticed it anyware
please advise if i need to do it again it got the submission wrong in the first place.

i went back to the submission details and i think i know where i went wrong as i put www in front of the domain name
could that explain why it hasn't appeared
this stuff is still quite new to me!!

i did resubmit it under the regional/business/real estate directory whick seems to be the right place, do you think that will work

I ca'n't find a submission for that URL in that category, and there is no record of it having been reviewed. Please feel free to resubmit the site, once, to the most appropriate category. Note that the most appropriate category is not http://dmoz.org/Regional/Europe/Business_and_Economy/Real_Estate/ , but the proper locality under http://dmoz.org/Regional/Europe/France/ .

maybe i am missing something here but if i go to the link you suggest below, namely,

there is no place to suggest a url and seems to ask me for the category, ie in my case "real estate" which takes me to

http://dmoz.org/Regional/Europe/France/Business_and_Economy/Real_Estate/

which is where i thought i had submitted the url the day before yesterday. if it hasn't registered then i suppose i must being something else wrong.
please advise

abandonned?

I have been tying to move forward with registering but i seem to have been abandonned. I hope someone give help me with some pointers on where i may have been going wrong

Sorry you feel abandoned, but sometimes the forum gets busy and one might fall back. I do not have editing rights in that area, so I can not give you much information. But I would like to point out that donwiebe suggested you submit to the proper locality in this category.

He meant for you to locate the locality in that category where you actually have your place of business.
And this category is different from the one you first submitted, although they do appear similar. If you click on the link in your post #4, then the link that donwiebe suggested that you follow down to the proper locality, you will see that the order of the categories is different.

Sorry for not getting back to you. Real estate agents are listed only in the locality where their offices are. This means, in your case, you would submit your site to the Sauze-Vaussais category, if it existed. Since it doesn't, please submit the site to the [cat=Regional/Europe/France/Regions/Poitou-Charentes/Deux-Sevres/]Deux-Sevres department[/cat] and an editor should be able to process it.

its true i am having a bit of difficulty making progress.
i am not concerned about the time needed to review my site but i just would like to know if i have registered it correctly

could you just let me know whether on the submission page i have to put www in front as the example just puts http://... yet further down the page wher it warns against duplication it shows the example as http://www....
most probably know this without needing to ask but sorry.......not me

I use http://dmoz.org/..., but http://www.dmoz.org/ maps there, so it doesn't really matter.
