www.dafpros.com was submitted about 5 months ago I believe to "Top: Business: Financial Services: Employment: Recruitment and Staffing: Recruiters". If not to this category it should have been. Can you please let me know the status and how I can get the site listed.

When do you think I would be given a response ?

What should my expectation be in terms of receiving a response ?

Re-Submit Site ?

Would it be possible for me to resubmit the site www.dafpros.com and be able to get it listed on an urgent basis given that I have already waited 5 months ?

No. Do not resumbit

Resubmitting just makes extra work for all concerned, and could potentially delay consideration of your site.

You do realize, don't you, that wait time can easily exceed two years in certain categories?

There is no process for an expedited review, since we are not a listing service for webmasters. We do consider suggestions, but that is not our highest priority.

Another editor, with permissions in teh category where your submission waits, will give you a status check. If this request slips to page three, you may bump it again, as we have are experiencing a high volume of status requests and we miss some.

This is truly a big Joke

Open Directory is an inefficient ineffective joke.
We have the number 1 site and can't even get listed on google.

Sorry, but we're not responsible for Google rank. They found 3.995 billion pages despite our best efforts -- the other 0.005 billion, they _might_ have gotten from us, who knows?

If that is what you are after, someone must have misdirected you here. Sorry for the confusion: we try to make the distinction clear, but haven't yet achieved comprehension in some quarters.
