Unfortunately the site was rejected because the editor could not find the enter link. I have added the site back into the queue where it is now waiting with a handful of others. Perhaps you could consider making the 'enter' link clearer because it took me a while to find it too.

Thanks so much. I'll change it. How far down on the list am I?
Thanks, Sibyl

That all depends on how the editor sorts the queue. I'm afraid I can only advise that there are a handful of sites waiting for review in that category.

When you have time can you give a quick peek & see if the "enter" looks okay or maybe you have a suggestion?
Thanks for your help.

Whoa! There's nothing hidden about that 'enter' link now.

Is this a good thing or a bad thing? I just want to pass "inspection". Now I'm worried, is it to big? Should I make it smaller? lol. Thank you for all your help. I really appreciate it!

We really don't care how big your enter link is, as long as it is clear. A tiny text enter link on an empty page is fine, as is a full screen gif.

The only time we care is when we can't find it. This is often the case with enter links that aren't in the obvious place (ie. at the bottom of the page). If it's a small text link, it can get lost amongst the clutter. If it's an image saying "Click here for porn pictures", we might think that it's an ad rather than the enter button.

I know I've seeen sites where I've spent over two minutes hovering over various links and images trying to find a way into a site, only to give up and delete it. How many surfers do you think will spend any more than 5 seconds looking for the entrance?

Thanks. I'll just sit back & wait. Won't even bother you for another month!

Will I receive an acceptance or rejection letter or do I need to keep checking to see if I "made the grade"?
Thanks,Sibyl

Usually editors don't send emails to submitters if a site has been accepted or rejected. You'll have to check manually, either in the category you submitted to, or do a search for 'sexcottage.com' from within http://dmoz.org/Adult/ (the search database is not generated in real-time, the results may be a few days old). Last alternative is to ask here every 4-5 weeks, preferably after you did a check first.

If I can tell by my log files that someone from the resource board has been into my site but it's not listed in the directory should I resubmit it now? Should I wait for the month to be up, ask for a status report, get an official rejection & then resubmit?
I'm antsy!
Thanks, Sibyl

>>Should I wait for the month to be up<<

Best to wait a month before asking again (preferrably, after checking that category. I can tell you it's still pending review. Please remember to use this thread to enquire again. Thanks

It's still there. There doesn't seem to have been much movement in that area. Sorry.
