I just tried visiting your site and gave up after about 90 seconds - front page wouldn't load.

It worked right away for me on IE with a cable connenction, but I'm wondering if it isn't the flash/javascript/graphics (however those graphics are run) that didn't cause the problem for marisa.

[edited to add] It is waiting in that cat with a submission date of 07/May/2003 07:24:26 MDT, no need to resubmit.

It's definitely a slow loader on a dial up connection -- maybe it's the Java that it's trying to load.

I have tried this site with IE5/6 & the browsers with RH Linux and it works OK
not as fast a one would hope on a low bandwidth link, the acid test is to
clear all caching from the browser and refresh which takes approx 20 secs to reload.
But I am interested in your observations, it could be a problem with the hosting service, do you have any advice on this. (the hosting service is www.blackfoot.co.uk)

In IE on a Mac using a dial up modem, the page takes over 2 minutes to just load to the point where you can see anything (it was still trying to load the Flash banner and Java a long time after that).

The link I use is a very poor dialup and it loads OK (approx 10 to 20 secs), it may be the hosting service

I will take a look at the load times and the java again
