Status of submission

Hello, I submitted the website for my birdwatching tour company (http://www.exoticbirding.com) to dmoz back in May 2004. Since then I have achieved a Google Pank Rank of 4 but have not heard anything about the status of my submission to dmoz. Can the editor please update me on status and also provide an estimate of when my site might be considered for inclusion in dmoz?

That is what you will nearly always hear. We review sites and either list them or not: for that purpose, e-mailing submitters is hardly ever necessary and often harmful.

One of the many editors who can edit in that category (whichever category it is) may help you with the first question, but only the editor who actually reviews the site can answer the latter -- and even then, often only after the fact.
