Hi,

Thanks for reading this. I requested an update to the title of my listing:

http://www.azmortgagepro.com

about 4 weeks ago. It resides in this category on the dmoz:

http://dmoz.org/Business/Financial_Services/Mortgages/Regional/United_States/Arizona/

I recently changed companies, so the old company name is still showing as the link to my website. I was working for a company called "Great Western Financial Services" but have moved to a new company called "Great Southwest Mortgage." I know it may not seem like much of a difference, but it confusing a few of my clients.

According to the update listing help section on the dmoz site, this update should take up to 2 weeks to process. The website remains the same with the exception of the color scheme and the logo and the directory description is still appropriate. Just a quick title change is all I'm asking for. I would really appreicate any help. Thank you in advance.

I checked and I could not find where this is - I don't believe we give any estimates of how long an update takes, but if you can point them out - I would like to see them. Thanks.

Bobrat, not sure if I am supposed to post again to this thread or to the other one, but this is what I was referencing with the two week projection:

http://dmoz.org/help/update.html

Arubin, that thread was for inclusion in the DMOZ last August, which has already been done (shortly after that thread was started). This is a seperate request for a title change to that listing.

Thanks for looking at my situation.

Depending on the activity level of the editors in your area, it may take up to 2 weeks or more for your site to be updated.
Should it be changed? Probably. Is it wrong? No. There is no guarantee that a site will be reviewed in 2 weeks, and this quote should not imply that there is.

Ok, I guess I will just wait. I wasn't trying to imply that the editor of my section had done something terribly wrong, just trying to bring it to their attention. I realize that it says "or more" in the guidelines, which is why I waited 4 weeks to even mention it.

Thanks again.

Thank you spectregunner, I've submitted it to that category as you suggested. I was afraid to submit to any other categories because I was already listed in a fairly descriptive one.

Good instincts, but when an editor here tells you to make an extra submission you are generally on solid ground.
