Status of url change http://www.flashgranny.co.uk

Our company (Flash Granny) has been listed in dmoz for almost 2 years in http://dmoz.org/Regional/Europe/United_Kingdom/Wales/Ceredigion/Business_and_Economy/ under the url http://www.flashgranny.com. Unfortunately in August of this year our flashgranny.com was accidentally deleted and the registrar was 'unable' (unwilling) to regain it for us during the redemption period. Someone else registered flashgranny.com (despite us using a drop catch service) and is using it as a portal with popups etc. I submitted an 'update url' in early October to change the url to flashgranny.co.uk. Our company Flash Granny has now disappeared from DMOZ. What is the best course of action now please?

Re: Status of url change http://www.flashgranny.co

Normally, resubmit with a note [in brackets like this at the end of the description] saying what you just said.

We won't take your word without checking (even when, as in this case, we do believe you) "We do website reviews, not e-mail requests." So it would take as long as any other "Add URL" request.

You don't have to resubmit this one, because I put it in the unreviewed queue, with a reference to this thread (and I was able to verify much of what you said -- the domain was indeed removed because it was hijacked.)

And then ... the queue was very short, so I just processed it.

[We really really hate domain-jumpers. A word to the wise: it's our duty to ensure snapping up expired domains for the sake of an ODP listing is not a profitable investment, and we're getting pretty good at it.]

Thank you so much - it's so good to know that

Thanks again for your prompt response.
