A suggestion from last month was received and is waiting review in http://dmoz.org/Home/Consumer_Information/Price_Comparisons . (It would not be listed in both parent and child categories, so should not have been submitted to both anyway.)

Please check to be sure that this is the single category you think your site should be listed in.

Point 1 contains a link to the submission policies and instructions, which say in Step Three:

Identify the single best category for your site. The Open Directory has an enormous array of subjects to choose from. You should submit a site to the single most relevant category. Sites submitted to inappropriate or unrelated categories may be rejected or removed.
