Dear sir, could you give more precise reason.

When I read your guidelines, everything is OK

"Determine whether a site is appropriate for submission to the ODP:
Do not submit mirror sites. Mirror sites are sites that contain identical content, but have altogether different URLs.
Do not submit URLs that contain only the same or similar content as other sites you may have listed in the directory. Sites with overlapping and repetitive content are not helpful to users of the directory. Multiple submissions of the same or related sites may result in the exclusion and/or deletion of those and all affiliated sites.
Do not disguise your submission and submit the same URL more than once. Example: http://www.dmoz.org and http://www.dmoz.org/index.html.
Do not submit any site with an address that redirects to another address.
The Open Directory has a policy against the inclusion of sites with illegal content. Examples of illegal material include child pornography; libel; material that infringes any intellectual property right; and material that specifically advocates, solicits or abets illegal activity (such as fraud or violence).
Do not submit sites "under construction." Wait until a site is complete before submitting it. Sites that are incomplete, contain "Under Construction" notices, or contain broken graphics or links aren't good candidates for the directory.
Submit pornographic sites to the appropriate category under Adult.
Submit non-English sites to the appropriate category under World.
Don't submit sites consisting largely of affiliate links.

a clear answer please

Is it impossible to get a clear reason of the refusal?

Final row of the guidelines?

Affiliates links? 3 links out of 25.000 links in English!

Pornographic links? None

Broken links? They are continuously reviewed. Of course, since we deal with more than 200 countries (or islands), including some less developed countries, we can have more broken links with them than with European and American countries (I think for instance of a site of the tourist board of an African country that is broken from time to time; but, by the way, it is included in the dmoz directory too!). Anyway, that is a small percentage of all registered links (47.000 in all languages)

Affiliate links - guess you and I don't define that the same way - I chose a random page and every link I looked is an affilaite link - end of discussion.

Your own guidelines

Thank a lot for your answer and help
But, according to your own "Guidelines for Specific Types of Affiliate Site:
General rule of thumb: Look at the content on the site, mentally blocking out all affiliate links. If the remaining information is original and valuable informational content that contributes something unique to the category's subject, the site may be a good candidate for the ODP. If the remaining content is poor, minimal, or copied from some other site, then the site is not a good candidate for the ODP.

about 100 affiliates links out of 47.000 links of all languages
you forget the remaining content of the directory http://www.willgoto.com

This is exactly why editors do not go explaining any further. You simply do not want to understand. If I will mentally block out all affiliate links, your site will disappear.

Please stop arguing because we cannot give you another answer.

Rectification

Dear Sir,
We are very respectful of your job. We know it is a difficult job.

However, what you said about our own directory is wrong and defamatory.

Firstly
As clearly reported in the submitted description (that doesn’t appear in this thread), Willgoto is primarily a travel directory for the Indian Subcontinent.

For this Subcontinent, we have about 14,000 links for 10 destinations (each of them, with about 200 categories in 6 languages). Only 21 links are affiliate links (of any kinds). This is 0.15 percent of the 14,000 links.

Secondly
For the same Subcontinent, we have also a very large number of non-commercial categories and subcategories. Most of them are exhaustive. Willgoto is probably one of the most comprehensive directories for the Indian Subcontinent/Indian Ocean.

Thirdly
In the whole directory (about 210 destinations), we have more than 40,000 links and 0.7 percent of them are affiliate links (of any kinds). No more.

Of course, we can prove the abovementioned facts.

Once you start throwing legal threats, editors will no longer either review the site or discuss the matter. Any further communications you have about the ODP may be taken up with the AOL legal department.
