I submitted more than a month ago. However, I just remembered that "Traffic Seeker" has been running in the background on one of my servers for several months and I suspect it has been auto submitting my site to DMOZ. Thus, the less than one month since the last submission!

I have no idea what if anything the traffic seeker has been submitting on my behalf to DMOZ. Maybe I should resubmit again myself to be sure that it is how I want it. Do you have any recommendations on this?

I recently became aware that using a auto submitter is frowned upon here and wonder if I may have shot myself in the foot by using Traffic Seeker?

Please do not resubmit, but you might want to do away with traffic seeker. Especially, if it is submitting over and over.
