No, it would not help the consideration of your requested Business/ listing one iota, but many businesses are entitled to consieration of both a topical listing and a regional listing. The two are considered separately, and you are allowed to have both submissions working at the same time. If I were you, I'd go for it, as there is no downside and plenty of possible upside.

Remember: submit to the locality where your company is located, not where you perceive your market to be. We also expect the website to contain enough information for a potential customer to be able to come and knock on your front door.
