It has been submitted multiple times over the years to

The site is waiting there for review. As always, we have no way of knowing how long it will take for an editor to undertake work in that category.

I don't see any advantage in doing that. The disadvantage is that since editors often do cleanups of duplciates of sites awaiting review by removing the duplicates - then one of two things happens.

1. The previous submission to the "wrong" category gets deleted - leaving the latest. If the editor then reviews sites in date order, you are at the end of the line. And at that point the editor might decide that was not the right category and move it to await review again.

-OR-

2. The latest submission gets deleted, and you didn't end up doing anything usefull other than having a note attached to your site history about having a duplicate [not that serious for one duplicate] removed.

Never give up - no reason to expect your site will not be listed at some point. You have done what you need to do for ODP, there are lots of other ways of marketing where you should put your energies.

However one more thing - make a second suggestion of your site to Regional/North_America/United_States/Kentucky/Localities/S/Salvisa/

I have been added to the regional site thanks to your help! Does this mean I cannot get listed in the Heat Transfers category now?

No. A site can be listed in both Regional and "topical" categories.
