Do you have any idea of when it could be done? We're trying to get our product listed and reviewed on a pretty important site in our industry, but they will only review sites that are in this DMOZ category

Sorry, no. There is never a way to tell when a particular site in any area of the directory will be reviewed.

I think that's pretty shortsited of them, I'm not impressed by that attitude - and don;t think they are a good resource. Although we would love to be the ultimate directory for sites, we certainly do not have all of them.

This is not the place to debate the matter, but please don't assume that it'll be listed.

The previous entry was added about 5 years ago - and the company has changed dramatically since then.

We'd be quite happy to change the existing entry instead - is that what you'd advise?

Yes. Go to the category where your main site is listed and click on update URL.
