Status of www.cyprusdreamproperty.com

Hi, this is my first time in this forum (I never knew it existed until recently).

I submitted a site a while back: http://www.cyprusdreamproperty.com

I'm sorry I didn't realise I was supposed to record the category or when the site was submitted. (I will do from now on though).

I would be very grateful if anyone could tell me the submission status or how I go about making sure it gets listed.

We can't tell the submittal status without knowing the category. The database doesn't work for us that way.

Given the necessary information, we could have told you whether it got submitted; from there, it's about a 99% probability it'll get reviewed and if appropriate, listed. (Editors do make mistakes.)

Note that there's probably no need to record the submittal date or category -- a submittal has just as good a chance if you forget about it. And if you find out the status in this forum (which is the only thing the submittal date and category are good for), 99% of the time it will be of no practical use -- that is, it won't make any difference whatsoever in how an honest webmaster maintains or promotes a site. (This 1% is not exactly the same set of exceptions.)

And as to the other question, we work hard to make sure there's no way you can make sure it gets listed. The submittal policies explicitly say "no site is guaranteed a listing."

Thanks for the quick response, so you suggest I just leave it and resubmit in a few months if it's not listed. Its a straight up site, with some decent content I believe.
