Interesting question here. I do not edit in that area of the directory, but my search found that it is showing as listed in the category mentioned already? Weird, but I don't see it there either. I will post a message internally directing back to this thread, so someone with the ability to dig further might be able to shed some light on this.

It should have been listed as:

Danz

Don and Mary from Tulsa, Oklahoma, United States. Politically conservative links, texts, sounds, pictures, and videos.

but seems to have slipped into a hole

As far as I can tell, it was never listed. It was greenbusted*, but I see no proof that it was actually added. I see no proof that it was deleted either.

I'm sure someone will volunteer to check into why this url vanished from the greenbust* pile (different from the unreviewed pile). I have to administer an exam in 30 min though, so it won't be me.

But your url is waiting in the pile to be reviewed for that category. No need to worry about resubmitting.

* A site which has been greenbusted is one that has already be reviewed by a relatively new editor, put into a seperate pile, and awaiting a senior editor to approve it. A site in the greenbust pile will normally be added pretty soon after being greenbusted.

Interesting...for what it's worth that would have likely been the description of my site from over a year ago as my more recent submission would have been more along the lines of:

Danz family politically conservative blog/website with links, texts, sounds, pictures, videos and a whole lot more.

(I don't remember exactly what I put, but believe I would have mentioned the addition of the blog.) I am not asking that the information be changed, I don't want to rock the boat. It's neat to see the behind the scenes...thanks to everyone who helps out with DMOZ and who provides info in this forum.

When a site is listed without a title it creates an invisible listing (it is there but you can't see it) - I have corrected this and it should be visible on our public servers in a few days. Thanks.

Note for editors - add the site and import the title / description from the alleged listing - if it is blank you know the listing is invisible!

That's untrue. When a site is added without a title, it uses the URL as the title. Example you say? See http://dmoz.org/Bookmarks/I/ishtar/

I still maintain that this site was never in the directory before today.

I've hit this several times, sites showing as published but not appearing in the category indicated. The cause is always the same. Empty title and description. How it happens I am not absolutely sure but I think it is due to automated actions as opposed to a manual add, e.g. a whole category rename or move (it has been looked into before, maybe a couple of years back). In this case I will bet that it was listed somewhere else that was at some point merged with the current category. Re-adding the site clears the bug.
