When was the site last submitted? You have to wait a month from that date before asking for a status update here.

apologies on jumping the gun

i must not have been paying attention to the one month thing - i believe it has been around three weeks. i didn't quite know what to do about that pressure cooker link also, and thought that since there is a redirect to the root page it may have been preventing it from being accepted.
again, apologies for jumping the gun on posting a status request.

The pressure cooker link has been taken care of. Thanks!

If you find any more dead links, we have a thread for that.

Don't worry about changing categories. If the reviewing editor thinks you made a mistake, he will move the site to the new category. However, I think you were right the first time.

Since your status check is on hold, you may bookmark this thread and come back for another status check on August 1st.

Waiting for review. Please use this thread for possible followup in 6 months (if it hasn't been listed by then).
Thanks!

I see no change in status of that submission since your last report, although another suggestion waiting for review elsewhere in Home/Cooking has been removed.

You may ask again in another 6 months.

No. It's a matter of policy. Posting here may get the suggestion removed, or possibly moved to a different category, but will not get it listed.

That would be wrong.

Actually it could get it listed indirectly from posting here. If you submitted to category x and ask about it here, it won't get it listed any faster. But a lurking editor, might decide it also would be good to list it in another category as well as category x and quietly add it to that category without you knowing that happened.
