Status of www.essentialoilsonline.co.uk please

Hi

I originally submitted www.essentialoilsonline.co.uk to DMOZ in the beginning of January but when the DMOZ editor looked at the site ONE & ONE had some errors (or I hadn't uploaded it correctly) and they were saying that my site was still under construction. I sorted the problem, waited a week then resubmitted to http://www.dmoz.org/Shopping/Health/Alternative/Aromatherapy/Essential_Oils/ on 16th January in case it had been rejected due to your terms. I then waited a further 4 weeks and resubmitted to a different category in case the first one was too busy and I may have been permanently rejected from the first one, http://www.dmoz.org/Regional/Europe/United_Kingdom/Business_and_Economy/Shopping/Health_and_Beauty/Complementary_and_Alternative/Aromatherapy_and_Essential_Oils/.

I have now waited a further month and it still hasn't appeared in either category.

Is there any way someone can check to see if it's in the queue or not as I'm a totally online business and need to get an idea of what stage it's at.

It's awaiting review here. We can't predict when it might be processed and, as our guidelines advise, please don't base your business plan on an ODP listing.

Further to my thread about 6 weeks ago checking the status of my site www.essentialoilsonline.co.uk , please could somebody advise the current position.

The site is waiting in this list - http://dmoz.org/Regional/Europe/Uni..._Alternative/Aromatherapy_and_Essential_Oils/

I know its probably a busy category, however, I'd just like to double check on its position.

I've waited another 6 months since my last status check and was wondering if someone could see how my site is getting on. There seems to be several changes to the category but alas I'm still not there !!

Sorry about the last thread being to early, I was muddling my dates and thought it was the 5th of April rather than the 4th May.

Anyway, it's now over six months since my last post and I was wondering if someone could check the status of my site www.essentialoilsonline.co.uk .

It was submitted to this category in January http://www.dmoz.org/Regional/Europe/United_Kingdom/Business_and_Economy/Shopping/Health/Complementary_and_Alternative/Aromatherapy_and_Essential_Oils/ .

I feel that my business is different to most as we offer wholesale prices for the retail or trade customer, our oils are offered in varying sizes, we have no minimum order and very low P&P.

We also offer many bottles and accessories singularly and in bulk for the large or small user. People say they find it diffucult to locate the bottles we supply and are pleased when they don't have to buy them in bulk.

The site is still awaiting a review in that category. We have no way of knowing how long it may take for a review to be performed due to the volunteer nature of the directory and its editors.

Thanks for the reply but how long should I wait now before chasing again ?

The last six months was an awfully long time to wait before submitting again and the reply doesn't really indicate if there's been any progress

I know all the volunteers are doing a great job, however, I was hoping to get a bit of info to say if I was any closer to being listed.

I suppose I was hopeful as a person on another thread yesterday was told 'a few more days' and she originally submitted in January as well.
