Status of www.esurance.com/default.asp

I submitted a listing for the Esurance Web site to this category: http://dmoz.org/Home/Consumer_Information/Automobiles/Insurance/
in January and have not seen it added yet. Am wondering the status of the submission.

Your site is actually listed in http://dmoz.org/Business/Financial_Services/Insurance/Agents_and_Marketers/Auto/United_States/Multi-State/ , there's no submission waiting in the category you mentioned, and it seems a submission there was never received.

If you think the current category is not appropriate you can request a change using the 'update URL' link of that category.

BTW, we prefer if you submit root URLs whenever possible (i.e. without 'default.asp', 'index.html' etc.). Thanks

While the page you suggested for that category awaits review, I don't think there's much chance we'll decide to list it. It looks like the primary purpose is sales, rather than information.

Thank you for your reply, however, I am a little confused as the site I'm submitting also provides information for consumers. For example: http://www.esurance.com/Content/ResourceCenter/ResourceCenter.asp

Also, when looking through the category, there are other sites with similar offerings. For example, the listing for Insurance.com points to a page where the primary offering is Auto Insurance Quotes.

Could you please provide more information for me, or would you suggest I submit the listing with the Learning Center URL instead?
