I just recently learned about this forum you guys are running. This is a great tool, and I really appreciate all the hard work you have into it.
If you would be so kind to inform me of the status of www.focustechnology.com, I submitted it almost three months ago under /Computers/Hardware/Used/.I realize my mistake after reading some of the forums on resubmitting, I realize that I have done that and will cease immediately with apologies. I would really appreciate any information you could provide.

Hey, we don't mind resubmitting anymore - in the majority of cases it simply overwrites the old submission now. So we still have to deal with only one. <img src="/images/icons/smile.gif" alt="" />

The bad news first: The category has a rather large number of sites waiting

The good news: Your's is patiently waiting among the others

Just checking back on the status of www.focustechnology.com in hopes that the bad news has changed to more a favorable situation for me on the long list. And of course, that I'm still on it ? Please advise if there is anything I can do.

I'm afraid your site is still waiting, still with more than 200 sites. Just so you know, the unreviewed listings may be sorted in several ways, and editors are not required to add sites in any particular order, so we can't tell you if your position is "more favorable," because we have no way of knowing that.

Also, just for your information, a duplicate submission in http://dmoz.org/Computers/Hardware/Systems/Sun/ was deleted in favor of the submission which is still waiting in the more appopriate http://dmoz.org/Computers/Hardware/Used/ category (clickable links, as requested in the Forum Guidelines).

I'm afraid there is nothing you can do except wait. Sorry the news isn't better.

Your submission of June 9th is still waiting for review in a heap with hundreds of other sites.

Do you have a physical presence where people can actually walk in and buy a computer? If yes, make this clear on your site and feel free to submit to Regional: North America: United States: Minnesota: Localites: C: Chanhassen: Business and Economy. In the end, your site might be listed in both the Computers category and the Regional category.

Since patiently waiting is a rare virtue, especially on these boards. And also because by the time I'd checked I'd pretty much reviewed the site anyway. The site has been reviewed and listed in the two categories you submitted it to but you'll need a wait a while for the public side to update.

It's listed in Computers/Hardware/Used and also in Chanhassen/B&E . This was fairly recent so it might not show up on our public facing servers for a few days.
