It's there in that category, but it was submitted on 24th December so it's far too early to be asking for a status. Come back to this thread in a month.

There has been no change, your submission dated 24/Dec/2002 13:31:04 MST is still waiting in the queue. Unfortunately that category is backed up and receives a large number of submissions. There are other sites waiting that have been there a lot longer than yours. The only advice I could give is to keep being patient. Sorry the news is not better.

The status is the same, sorry to report :(

As kokopeli said, the category is quite backed up. I'd suggest waiting two months before checking back.

Thanks for the quick reply. Would you mind checking how many people are ahead of me? Also, please check to see if the editor for this category an active participant.

btw: I initially submitted about a year and a half ago, then again in December last year, i'm wondering if maybe someone has clogged the queue or if its not monitored anymore?

There is no order that editors are required to submit in, therefore we cannot tell you who is in front of you. There are editors who work in that area of the directory as well as well as numerous others who have the ability to edit in that area. Because editors are volunteer some spend more time editing than others. The beauty category of health, and the subcategories tend to get a lot of site suggestions in addition. There is no way to say how long it will take.

Hello again, please help me understand why i am not yet in the directory. I have seen new competitors become listed in the directory that were not in business when we applied for our listing. Thanks in advance and happy Thanksgiving.

ps. Is there an acceleration method i am not aware of?

Your status is the same as it has been - currently awaiting review in the category along with a very large number of other site suggestions.

The category is very backlogged and it is going to be a while regardless of how long you have currently waited. If you are seeing listings then that should be a good sign - someone might be working on the category. I don't know - I can just tell you patience is going to be key here.
