I can't find it in that category and I can't spot it in any of the immediate subcats.

I can confirm however that it is not showing as being declined or moved anywhere. Please feel free to resubmit making a note of the category for any future status checks.

Please reuse this thread in the future should you ask again.

Hope this helps :)

is www.global-furniture.uk.com queued now?

Hello

After my request for info last November I re-submitted

http://www.global-furniture.uk.com

to this category...

http://dmoz.org/Regional/Europe/Uni...d_Economy/Shopping/Home_and_Garden/Furniture/

I was wondering if it had made it to the queue this time?

Its now about 15 months since my original submission, and it would be nice to see the site in DMOZ if a kindly editor thought it worthy of inclusion.

Perhaps someone would be helpful enough to let me know.

Thank you

l.

Nope.... I could not find it there again.

I have however now added it to the pile in that category. If you do not see the site listed within 6 months please feel free to return to this thread for a further update.

<added> Actually change of plan. In light of the fact I have just found http://www.global-teak.com listed within its locality I have instead added that one (http://www.global-teak.com) to the pile and ensured that the other one does not 'accidentally' get listed.

Thanks for your time taken to respond.

However that is a different site altogether???

I havent submitted it to that category, and dont understand at all why you have it confused with what is a completely different site?

Please let me know

thanks

The submission of multiple related sites is something that can get all the related sites completely excluded from the Directory. That is made very clear in the guidance when suggesting a URL. Being a different site does not make it unrelated. Same owner, same business sector, shared content, blah, blah, blah. Related site. No confusion (at this end anyway). One site from your business will be listed, all others are excluded, do not submit them as the consequences are clearly outlined. Thanks.

I genuinely didnt realise that was the case and I apologise.

It wasnt a deliberate attempt to buck the system and I am grateful for the information and your understanding.

But it does seem a shame since the last submission carries all our products and is a way bigger site and much more appropriate for inclusion.

So since we can only have one is it correct to assume that since the earlier one is there already it cannot be replaced by the larger and more useful site?

thanks again for your time

OK, URLs swapped around. global-teak is now excluded, our practice is normally to list the broader content site where there is a choice. If you have any more, keep them to yourself and don't submit!

It is waiting for review there. You can ask for a status check there in 6 months.
