I submitted http://www.handpaintedtallit.com a few months ago to:

http://www.dmoz.org/Regional/North_...ork_City_Metro/Business_and_Economy/Shopping/

The submission has been received and is awaiting review in the first category. Not in the second category, and not likely to be listed there anyway. I suggest you find your city or town ("Locality"). If in New York City, your borough. Submit the site there instead of the Metro Area category, which is geographically huge, and mostly for organizations, media outlets, or businesses that have multiple locations in multiple counties.

As suggested, I resubmitted http://www.handpaintedtallit.com to

on or around January 7, 2005. Could I please get a status update? Thank you for your time.

Your submission of January 4th is waiting for review in that category. (By the way, your site looks very nice. I hope it will be reviewed soon. Check that category every now and then. If you don't find your site listed after six more months, feel free to come back to this forum thread and ask what's up.)
