No, the description absolutely shouldn't read like that.

That description isn't guidelines-compliant, and will probably get shot on sight for pompous circumlocation.

If the current description isn't inaccurate (and you didn't claim it wasn't accurate), or the new description is out of line with other sites OR with the guidelines, there's basically no chance of it being considered favorably.

I'm surprised that you find my description pompous. What is wrong with it exactly? I'm very curious now.

Also, my current description is very inaccurate:

"One of the older mIRC scripts archives which has fallen into neglect since mIRC 5.5."

This is completely untrue since I've recently rewritten the entire website to accomodate all versions of mIRC.

Thanks and I hope this clears up my situation!

We try to
* avoid keyword-listings
* avoid marketing language ("Interactive features, ...")
* avoid superfluous information that could be expressed shorter (I guess you want to express it has a forum and/or a chat with that funny second sentence)

Thanks for the feedback, I've rewritten my description and submitted it again, how does this sound:

Free library of mIRC scripts, addons and references. Offers mIRC code examples, discussions and reviews for authors.
