Status of www.holidayholidayholiday.com

Hello - I am an SEO an optimized http://www.holidayholidayholiday.com and submitted to the ODP About a month ago. I submitted to this link:

Top: Regional: Europe: United Kingdom: Travel and Tourism: Travel Guides

I did the best I could for finding the correct category. If this site was submitted more than once would they be penalized ?? Thank you for your reply.

There are few explicit penalties, but submitting more than once is often counterproductive. If you're worrying about police hauling you to jail -- no, there are no penalties -- submit as many times as you want.

If you are looking for the most effective way to submit your site, then there is nothing quite so effective as just following the submittal policies. And submitting "many" times is MUCH less effective.

Thank you for the rapid reply.

What I meant was the site owners submitted once without my knowing it and then I did and then was told by the site owner somewhere here on the forums because it was submitted twice it would not be included.

I found this hard to believe and figured I would ask here.

If I could ask another question as an SEO using my e-mail several times to submit client websites can my e-mail address be banned or any submissions to the directory denied ??

As Hutcheson said submitting multiple times is counterproductive, but not terminally so.
The more times a site is noted as a duplicate suggestion, the worse its reputation - 2 is not a great number, so don't worry about that one, just try to curb the impulse to continue to re-suggest it.

As an SEO, or member of the public, we have no limit to the number of sites you may suggest to us, neither is it taken into account when reviewing a particular site.

For SEO purposes (something we care nothing about) all you should be concerned about is getting the site listed in the quickest time, and the only way you can help with this is to ensure that you submit it to the single best category the first time, with as close to a guidelines compliant Title/Description as you can.
