Hi,

I submitted my site a few months ago now, and was just wondering if it has been looked at yet, and if so, what was thought about it?

Best Regards,

Chris

Without the required information (like the category it was submitted to) then we can't check.

Regretfully however I have already been able to establish that the site is not listable due to the content not being of a unique nature. I am sure that I need not say anymore other that to mention that having multiple URL's does not increase the chances of a listing. Infact the more URL's being used for the same services the more suspicious we become and the less likely we will be convinced when a possible worthy site slips through.

Ok thanks for checking that out.

Yes, I thought unique content might be the problem. My site offers advertising for house sellers for free, as well as a house search for new properties, not sure content in a traditional sense is what it offers?

Im interested in the multiple URLs point though - is there any particular reason you would think I am using multiple URLs? Because I'm not, and just a couple of days ago I found a site with a complete copy of my House Buying Guide site.

Yes. Trust me we have done this sort of thing a hundred times and it is second nature to us.

? I dont follow. Thats my house buying guide site. Completely separate site to my property advertising and search site that I am asking about here. Hardly a case of multiple URLs for the same site.

Since you have other sites listed that offer the same services House-Shop does, but charge a fee, I thought House-Shop would deserve a place since it is completely free.

For our purposes they are the same site. They are on different servers and yes your fingers have to press something different to view each 'topic' but essentially they could be contained in one website.

If you choose to make 4 small sites (one for selling, one for buying, one for renting, and one for advice) then that is your choice and we are highly unlikely to list all of them. If you made one comprehensive site covering all of the joint topics it may well be worth a look.

As for house shop I am not going to enter into a debate as to the why's but ask yourself one question. Are the adverts on your site available on any other site anywhere and if so is it listed already?

Ok, fair enough I guess. I made housebuyingguide.co.uk first, so couldnt really add the property advertising/search part in there, so made a new site.

Thanks for the help anyway.

Cheers,

Chris
